This place is a hidden gem. I have never been here before and brought my family and boy what a good choice. The drinks were sooo delicious. I recommend the SUNSET IN PARADISE and the VANILLA CREAM COLA. The interior is awesome...and the view was great.

Came in with a group of 16 and had such a great experience! We were greeted by Marie with a smile, and she ended up being our server. She did an excellent job taking care of our large group, keeping everything organized, and making sure everyone had a great meal. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and we really appreciated how welcoming and attentive she was. Highly recommend!

Mellow Mushroom Wilmington Downtown — Saturday, April 25, 2026 I walked into Mellow Mushroom on day 3 of FMLA, 26 days after my March 30 collision, 12 days after Daisy died, and 11 days into a new prescription that I didn't yet know was probably making things worse. I'd checked into a hotel the night before to give my family space because I was in crisis. I had a post-traumatic migraine, severe sleep deprivation, and dissociation strong enough I described it to my server as feeling like I was tripping on acid — even though I've never done acid in my life. Katie was my server. I told her — sunglasses on, hat down, barely holding it together — that my head was wrecked and I felt like I was on something. She didn't flinch. She recommended a lavender blueberry drink. She checked on me for what felt like five hours. She made me feel like a regular instead of the man falling apart in the corner. Makayla was working too. Harley back at the hotel had given me my first mimosa of the day. But Katie carried me through that afternoon. I left Mellow alone, walking back toward the hotel. Great Location in downtown Wilma. Great views of the river if you want to sit outside. You are still getting the high quality pizza you always get at the Mellow. Went to one in Asheville, NC recently and same deal. Righteous Vibes Flowing !!!!

Mellow Mushroom in Wilmington is a great spot for delicious pizza in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. The menu has plenty of creative pizza options, and the crust is perfectly baked with lots of flavor. Ingredients taste fresh, and there are good choices for different diets, including vegetarian and gluten-free. The vibe is colorful and relaxed, making it a nice place to hang out with friends or family. Service is friendly, though it can get a bit busy at times, which is the only small reason it’s not a full five stars. Overall, a solid 4.5-star experience and definitely worth a visit!
